Description
The garden wall and gateway attached to the front of Bosneives Farmhouse is likely from the early 19th century. It is constructed from slatestone and granite rubble and features a wooden gate. The wall, which is about 3 metres high and 10 metres long, is connected to the farmhouse and includes a doorway that adjoins the building. This wall extends forward from the farmhouse, providing a screen from the farmyard. There is a low stepped front range of wall, approximately 25 metres long, with slate coping and granite piers at intervals, topped with wooden rails. At the right end, there is a single gateway with a wooden gate featuring swept rails. The wall continues an additional 10 metres to the right, standing at a height of about 2 metres.
