Description
The garden walls and gateway attached to the front of Trethiggey Farmhouse were built around 1830-1840. They are made of squared stone rubble with stone coping and cast iron railings. The wall, which is about 4 metres high, is connected to the front left of the farmhouse and measures approximately 5 metres long, tapering down to the front range that extends about 20 metres along the garden. The front range features a low wall with moulded coping, railings topped with trefoil finials, and columnar stanchions. At the right end, there is a gateway with plain stone piers and a gate that matches the design of the railings.
