Description
The outbuildings at Trerice, dating from the 15th century with 16th-century porches, are now used as a restaurant and for services. Constructed from killas stone and topped with slate roofs, the barn features central midstreys on both sides. It has a long wing extending east from the north end and a shorter wing on the south end, with later lean-to structures in between that now serve as WCs, stores, and kitchens. Inside, there are four-centred arches over the inner openings from the midstreys, which originally had positions for hanging doors before the midstreys were added. The roof trusses were installed in the 20th century, and there are various altered openings throughout the building.
