Description

Harbour View is a house dating to around the middle of the 19th century, though it may incorporate earlier fabric. The exterior is constructed from rendered and painted stone rubble with brick segmental arches over the openings, and has a rag slate roof with a hipped end on the right and a gable end on the left. A rendered brick stack is located in the right-hand hipped end. The house is arranged with a range on the right of double depth plan, incorporating a central cross passage and a possible stair projection to the rear. A range on the left forms a two-room, double-depth cross wing. The front facade has a regular 1:2 window arrangement. The left-hand range has circa 19th century 16-pane sashes on both the ground and first floors. The right-hand range features two 19th century 12-pane sashes on each floor, and a central plank door. The interior is not accessible.
