Description
This is a house dating to the early 19th century, located in Valency Row, Boscastle. The exterior is rendered and painted stone rubble, with a section of the right-hand gable end slate hung. The roof is slate, with gable ends. The house likely has a double-depth plan, with two reception rooms at the front and two smaller service rooms to the rear.
The front of the house is symmetrical, featuring a two-window arrangement. The ground floor has segmental arched openings, with a 20th-century plank door flanked by 19th-century two-light casement windows. The first floor has a 19th-century two-light casement window on the left and an early 19th-century sixteen-pane hornless sash window to the right. The interior has not been inspected. The house forms part of a group of buildings near the picturesque harbour of Boscastle.
