Description
This building is a shop that was converted from a house, possibly dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with a slate-hung timber frame wall on the right-hand gable end. The roof is made of cement-washed rag slate with gable ends, and there is a stone rubble stack on the left-hand gable end.
The layout consists of one room with the entrance located in the right-hand gable end and a fireplace on the left-hand gable end. The thinner wall on the right-hand gable end suggests that the house originally extended to the right. The shop has an asymmetrical front with two storeys and features a 20th-century 12-pane window on the ground floor, along with a 19th-century 2-light horizontally sliding sash window above it in a gabled half dormer. The interior is not accessible.
