Description
Robin Cottage is a house that possibly dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from rendered and painted slate stone rubble, topped with a slate roof featuring gable ends. There may be a rear lateral stack on the left side of the building.
The house has a two-room layout with a central entrance. The left room is likely heated by the rear lateral stack. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with two windows. On the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century 12-pane hornless sash window on the left and a circa early 19th-century centre-hung 2-light casement window on the right. Near the centre, there is a part-glazed 20th-century stable-type door. The first floor features an early 19th-century 2-light casement window on the left and possibly an early 20th-century 2-light casement window to the right of centre.
The interior is not accessible. Robin Cottage is part of a group of buildings located near the picturesque harbour at Boscastle.
