Description

This barn, located 20 metres to the west of Lavethan, dates from the early 19th century and was altered in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and had its roof replaced in the mid-20th century with a mono-pitch corrugated plastic roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with an entrance on the far left and several blocked entrances on the front. It has been reduced to a single storey and features five door and window openings on the front. Inside, there are remains of two stalls for stables on the left, which include fine quality fittings. Despite the alterations, this barn holds significant group value due to its close proximity to Lavethan.
