Description

The pig house located to the west of Ivy Cottage is a structure dating from the early 19th century, now repurposed as a wood store. It is built from stone rubble and features large quoins, topped with a rag slate roof that has gable ends. The building has a rectangular, single-cell plan with a central entrance, which likely originally included a feeding hole at the rear. It is a low, single-storey building with plank double doors at the center. This pig house is part of a group that includes Ivy Cottage and Lemon Cottage.
