SW 97 NW ST MINVER PORTHILLY LOWLANDS 3/320 Group of 5 tombchests of Kent - family and John Proffit 6-12m to south of chancel of Church of St. Michael GV II Group of five tombchests. 1728-1813. From north to south; in memory of Mary Kent (1728); John Kent (1813); Philip Kent, Yeoman (1755) his daughter Joana (1748), son Philip (1763), daughter Alice Robins (1765) and sister Ann (1803); Philip Kent (1783) and wife Mary (1788); John Proffit of Cockmoyles (1800) and wife Ann (1789). Slate and stone rubble rectangular chests with rectangular slate lids. Inscriptions in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
