Description

Greystones is a house that has been divided into two homes, located on Whiterock Road in Wadebridge. It dates from the early 19th century and features a stone rubble construction with slate hanging on the front elevation. The roof is covered with slate and has hipped ends, with a higher wing at the rear left. There is a brick stack at the right end and a brick axial stack to the left of the center.

The building has a two-storey design with a regular three-window front. The entrance is positioned to the right of the center and includes a part-glazed 20th-century inner door and a 20th-century porch featuring a panelled round-headed door and side windows with intersecting glazing bars. The windows are 12-pane hornless sashes on both the ground and first floors, with a 16-pane hornless sash to the left of the porch.

While the interior has not been inspected, it is likely to retain its original internal features and joinery. Additionally, there is a garden wall at the front, made of stone rubble and capped with slate, which probably dates from the early 19th century.
