Description
This is a headstone located 4 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Mebena, commemorating Josiah and John Toker. It dates from 1767 and honors Josiah, the son of John and Alice Toker, who died in that year, as well as John Toker, who passed away in 1775. The headstone is made of slate and features a rectangular shape with a nowy shaped panel. It is inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs and includes decorative elements such as an angel's head and skull and crossed bones in the corners.
