Description
A pair of gatepiers and flanking walls with terminal piers, dating from around the mid 19th century, are located to the south of Watergate in St Mabyn. The gatepiers may have been partly rebuilt in the late 20th century. They are constructed from slate stone rubble with granite dressings. The gatepiers are square in plan and made of stone rubble, topped with granite pyramidal caps. The flanking walls are stone rubble quadrant walls with granite coping, which end in stone rubble and granite ashlar piers, also featuring pyramid caps.
