Description

Sunnyside is a house dating from 1830, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of snicked local slate stone rubble, with a rag slate roof, half-hipped ends, and brick end stacks. The house follows a double-depth plan, with a central entrance on the right-hand side elevation, two reception rooms facing the front, and service rooms at the rear.

The exterior is symmetrical, with a three-window front. It features dressed stone segmental arches with key blocks over both ground and first-floor openings. Two original 19th-century hornless 12-pane sash windows flank a central niche within a rounded-headed arched opening. Above these, two similar sash windows are positioned alongside a blind window, which incorporates the datestone and a sundial. A 20th-century lean-to glazed conservatory porch has been added to the right-hand side elevation. The interior was not inspected.
