Farmhouse. Circa late C17 origins, extended in late C19 and C20. Rendered and painted stone rubble and cob. Thatched roof with stone rubble and brick shafts to end stacks. Slate and asbestos slate roofs to C19 and C20 extensions. Plan: Originally probably of 2-room and through passage plan heated by end stacks with larger hall-kitchen on right and smaller parlour on left. The 1-room plan range adjoining to right may be coeval or is probably a later extension. In circa late C19 or C20 a parallel range was added across the rear of the earlier range probably on the site of circa C18 service outshut. C20 single storey extension on right hand end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front with C20 aluminium door frame to left of centre. C19 20-pane sash to left and early C19 4-light casement to right. 3 early C19 3-light casements on first floor. Lower range to right has C20 window on ground floor and two C20 gabled half dormers. Interior: Chamfered fairly slight floor joists. C20 grates to fireplaces.
