Description

Syms Tomb is a chest tomb located approximately 35 meters northeast of the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Launceston. It was erected in 1847 in memory of Charlotte, the wife of William Henry Syms, who died in the same year at the age of 46. The tomb is an unusually long slate chest tomb featuring panelled sides, with three panels on each of the long sides.
