Description

The tombchest of William and Ann Symons, located 60 metres east of the Church of St Materiana, dates from 1808. It commemorates William Symons, who died in 1808, and his wife Ann, who passed away in 1794. The chest is made of slate stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. It is inscribed with two angel's heads and includes an inscription in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
