Description
Nos. 9 and 11 Coinagehall Street are two town houses from the early 19th century that have later been adapted for shops. The exterior features a rendered finish on masonry, with No. 11 topped by a grouted scantle slate roof that has a shallow hipped wing on the left side, while No. 9 has an asbestos slate roof. Both roofs are set behind a plain parapet. The buildings have a double-depth plan and rise to two storeys. They present an overall five-window range, with late 19th-century horned sash windows on the first floor, including a canted oriel window with pilasters and a moulded entablature on the right. The ground floor has projecting 20th-century shop fronts. The interior has not been inspected. These buildings are included for their group value.
