Two town houses with later shops. C17. Slatehanging on timber-frame jettied to upper floor on left; steep rag slate roof behind parapet on right; central brick stack. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; overall 3-window range with early C19 sixteen-pane hornless sashes to upper floors of left-hand bay, otherwise mid C19 twelve-pane hornless sashes over C20 two-light casements. Ground floor has early C20 three-light double shop-front with sidelights on the left; later C20 shopfront on right with doorway on its left. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
