Pair of town houses with later shops. c1840 or possibly a refronting of an earlier house. Stucco on probable rubble; roof hidden behind parapet with moulded cornice. Double-depth plan plus deep central rear wing at right angles. 3 storeys; 1:2:1 bay front. Central triangular moulded pediment over giant pilasters with Greek key patterns framing upper floors of central bays which have tripartite windows with hoods on consoles; side bays with eared architraves, all with original hornless sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor has quoin strips and similar pilasters flanking window left of centre; otherwise later remodelled. Large late C19 slightly-projecting double shop front on the right with moulded entablature, partly hidden by C20 fascia, slender turned mullions with carved bases and caps, return lights with original ventilators to splayed central doorway with original glazed door; C20 fascia and smaller irregular C20 double shop front on the left. INTERIOR not inspected.
