Description

15 and 17 Church Street is a town house dating from the 18th century. The front features slate hanging on studwork, and it has a dry slate roof with a slate-hung pediment above a heavy moulded cornice. The building has a double-depth plan with a deep rear wing at right angles. It stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range. The early to mid-19th century windows are 12-pane hornless sashes. The ground floor includes late 20th-century shop windows beneath an early 20th-century fascia, which has a moulded cornice that is stopped by open-pedimented end pilasters. The interior has not been inspected.
