Description
29 Looe Street is a town house that was built in the 18th century and has a later former shop. The front is made of painted brick, and it has a dry slate roof with a semi-dormered window that features a pair of 20th-century four-pane horned sashes. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high, plus an attic floor, with a two-window range. The upper floors have 20th-century twelve-pane horned sashes. On the ground floor, there is a moulded fascia from the former shop above two sashes and an old six-panel door located on the right. A fire insurance plaque is displayed above the shop fascia. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a significant group of 17th and 18th-century houses.
