Description
The Torway monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 7 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of St Melor. It dates from the 18th century and features a slate lid resting on a chest made of greenstone ashlar. The lid displays good lettering, commemorating Robert Torway, who passed away in 1743.
