Description
The tombchest of William Luskey, dating from 1776, is located 3 metres to the west of the southwest corner of the tower of the Church of St Torney. It serves as a memorial to William Luskey, son of William and Mary Luskey. The tombchest is made of ashlar slate and features a rectangular slate lid. The surface is inscribed with both upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs and verse. The lid has been broken, and there is a small piece missing.
