Granite rubble with dressed granite front. Slurried scantle slate roof with gabled ends. Dressed granite end stacks, the left-hand stack is larger. Plan: 2-room plan with a central entrance. Each room heated from a gable end stack, the left-hand room is probably the kitchen. There is a later-C19 single storey outshut at the back and a C19 outbuilding attached to the left-hand end at right angles. There is also a small C20 outbuilding attached to the right-hand end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window south front has 3 symmetrically disposed late C19 4-pane sashes on the first floor. The ground floor fenestration is not quite symmetrical: large late C19 6-pane sash to the left and a late C19 2-light casement to the right with glazing bars. Central doorway with a C19 plank door. All the ground floor openings have granite lintels, the lintel of the left-hand window is chamfered and may be earlier reused material. Gable-ended outbuilding projecting at the left-hand end.
