Description

SW 84 32 ST JUST IN ROSELAND LOWER CASTLE LANE (north side), St Mawes 7/101 No 14 (Cartref) including front - garden wall 30-5-67 GV II

House and garden wall to south. Early C19. Stucco over rubble front with granite rusticated quoins, first floor sill band and keystones. Ripped, dry slate roof with brick chimney over left side wall. 2 room, double depth, central stair plan. Symmetrical 3 window south front. Original 16-pane hornless sashes in openings with cambered arches. Central doorway and original 6-panel door within porch on square panelled posts with capitals and vestigial entablature of brackets under flat roof eaves soffit. Old louvered wooden window shutters. Interior not inspected. Plain rubble garden wall to front with central gateway and wooden rail and pailing fence and gate.
