Description
The Williams Monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 15 metres south of the south transept of the Church of St Columba in St Columb Major. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The monument features a nowy head with a decorated border, a finely carved primitive cherub's head with wings, and well-executed lettering. It commemorates John Williams, who passed away in 1740.
