Description
The Williams monument is an early 19th-century pedestal tomb located approximately 0.5 metres east of the east end of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It is made of ashlar stone and features a square set design with a moulded plinth and capping. The monument has a small embellished cushion finial, a fluted frieze, and a plain rectangular inscription panel with a semi-circular shaped head. It commemorates Elizabeth, the wife of Reverend H Williams, although the inscription is largely illegible.
