Description

The Williams monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 15 metres southwest of the tower of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth on a stepped base, with one fielded panel on each face and coffar panelled pilasters on the sides. The hipped top has moulded coving and rounded leading edges. This monument commemorates John Williams, who died in 1816, as well as one of his forefathers, although the epitaphs for the latter are no longer readable.
