Range Of Barns About 10 Metres South West Of Trevennen Farmhouse

This is a range of barns dating from the mid-19th century, located about 10 metres south-west of Trevennen Farmhouse. The barns are constructed from slatestone rubble with granite dressings and quoins, featuring hipped slate roofs with ridge tiles, although some areas have asbestos slate and corrugated iron roofing.

The structure has a large L-shaped plan that includes stables and cart sheds, with lofts above. The main range is two-storey and nearly symmetrical, featuring nine openings on the first floor, all with cambered granite arches and granite jambs. These openings consist of a central loading door, flanked by two windows, a second loading door, and another window on each side. On the ground floor, there is a central cart entrance with a cambered granite arch, along with a cart entrance and two doorways on either side, and a small 20th-century addition on the front right.

The wing on the front left is also two-storey. On the first floor, it has five openings, all with cambered granite arches, including a window loading door, three windows, and one additional loading door. The ground floor features three single doorways and two cart entrances with concrete lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
