Description
The lychgate at the west entrance to the churchyard of the Church of St Michael is a 19th-century structure made of slatestone rubble. It features a hipped slate roof adorned with crested ridge tiles. The internal side walls are rendered, and the roof is ceiled. Benches with wooden seats are incorporated into the side walls. On the outer side, there are pintles that remain from former gates. A central stone rubble coffin rest with a slate top is present, and the paving is laid in a diamond pattern using cobbles.
