House. Early/mid C19. Coursed dressed stone to garden front, otherwise killas rubble with granite dressings and brick arches; dry slate hipped roof, brick stacks over cross wall and over wall right of entrance front. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys plus attic chambers; symmetrical 3-window entrance front; 2-window garden front with mid-floor string to left-hand return, and 2-window range rear, all with segmental brick arches over original 16-pane hornless sashes. Entrance front has original wooden distyle Tuscan porch with moulded cornice broken forward over fluted columns and with basket arches to front and returns; panelled doorway reveals, overlight and 6-panel door with flush bottom panels. INTERIOR described as having good staircase with mahogany handrail; panelled shutters, carved chimneypiece and arched cupboards to principal reception room. A complete and fine example ofa house of this date.
