Description

GJ and PD Lilly is a shop with living accommodation above, dating from the early 19th century. The ground floor is rendered, while the upper storey features timber studding clad in wooden rusticated boards. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and has gabled ends that abut adjoining buildings. There is a large brick stack over the party wall to the right. The building has two storeys, with a two-window range on the first floor that includes small four-pane horned sashes. On the ground floor, there is a wide horned sash window for the shop with three panes over two panes, and a half-glazed 20th-century door to the left. This building is particularly notable for its rusticated timber cladding.
