Description

The headstone of Ann Barry and two tomb chests of Abel Rebouse and Samuel Higgs are located 4 meters southeast of the porch to the Church of St. Menefreda. The headstone, which commemorates Ann, the wife of John Barry who died in 1784, is a rectangular slate structure. The adjoining tomb chest belongs to Abel Rebouse, who died in 1780, and is a rectangular brick chest topped with a slate lid. To the west is the tomb chest of Samuel Higgs, who died in 1768, made of stone rubble and also featuring a slate lid. All three memorials are inscribed with upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs.
