Description
Two headstones are located 1.5 metres to the west of the south aisle of the Church of St. Menefreda. They date from 1763 and 1783. One headstone commemorates Christian, the wife of Jonathan Higg, who died in 1763. It is a large slate rectangular headstone featuring inscriptions with verse and decorative heart motifs. The other headstone is for David, the son of David and Margaret Williams, who died in 1783. This slate rectangular headstone also includes inscriptions with verse and an angel's head. Both headstones display upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
