Description
The gatepiers located 150 metres to the east of Lanarth House are likely from the 19th century. They are constructed from granite ashlar and feature two large outer square piers that have moulded caps with torus bands. These piers are topped with pyramids and ball finials. There are also two inner square piers that lead to the carriageway, made from granite monoliths with plain square caps. The gatepiers are complemented by wrought iron gates for both the pedestrian and carriageway, which are adorned with ornate cresting.
