Description
The building is a shippon and horse engine (whim) house located to the south-east of Rosuick Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It originally served as a shippon with a granary above and features a horse whim house at the rear. Constructed from rubble stone with granite lintels and dressings, it has a hipped scantle slate roof and an L-shaped plan, with a short wing projecting to the right. The structure is two storeys high, with shippon doorways on the ground floor, including a wide central doorway. The first floor has loading doors and windows, along with brick ventilation holes arranged in triangular patterns. At the rear, there is a polygonal open-sided whim house with a slate roof, supported by square granite monolith piers. Stone steps lead up to the loft on the left side of the whim house. This building is included for its group value.
