Description

The gate piers at Orrock House were built around 1782 and are located on the northern axis of the house. They consist of four square, ball-capped gate piers made of ashlar granite, with railings and monolith ball-capped footgates positioned between them. The upper parts of the central piers were dismantled in 1968, and the stones have been set aside for potential re-erection.
