Orrock House

Orrock House is a building dating from 1781 to 1782. It features a three-storey main block with gabled roofs and single-storey wings that have piend roofs, all of the same depth. The south front is made of dressed granite and has five windows (with one blind at the ground floor and two at the second floor), along with one door that has a rectangular fanlight and one window in each wing. The north front has three windows (with the west windows being blind) and one window in the wing. The ground floor is harled, while the second and third floors are of dressed granite. There is a tripartite doorpiece with a semi-elliptical traceried fanlight, and semi-circular headed openings are present in the east wall of the east wing and at the attic in the gables. The interior is simply treated and retains original woodwork, including a plain railed stair and a good chimneypiece on the first floor. There is a modern garage entrance in the west wing and a modern porch in the east wing.
