Description
The Old Parish Church in Belhelvie is a ruin that was originally designed in a T-plan with a south aisle. The remains primarily consist of a fragment of the south aisle, which features a fine but heavily weathered monument. The west gable is constructed of coursed granite and includes a chamfered doorpiece, as well as a ball-capped birdcage bellcote that is dated 1762, associated with Thomas Ragg, who was the minister from 1745 to 1786. There is also a marble memorial dedicated to John Orrok, who passed away in 1823.
