Description

The guidepost, dated 1838, is located at a junction between the B3293, B3294, and an unclassified road in St Keverne. This rectangular stone structure has a flat top. The south face features black painted lettering that reads "GWENTER/ST/KEVERNE," along with representations of a pointing hand both above and below the lettering. The west face is inscribed with "COVERACK" and also includes a pointing hand below the lettering. The date 1838 is inscribed below the pointing hand on the south face, and there is an un-painted Ordnance Survey benchmark at the bottom of the stone.
