Description
The gate piers at the entrance to the drive east of Harlyn House date from the early 18th century and are a pair of original granite piers. There are also two additional gate piers and gates from the 20th century. The outer gate piers are tall, square in shape, and rusticated, featuring large moulded granite caps topped with ball finials. The inner gate piers, which are from the 20th century, are plain granite monoliths also topped with ball finials, and they are connected to the outer piers by low granite walls. The entrance is completed with 20th-century wrought iron gates.
