Description
This is a dovecote located immediately to the northwest of Harlyn House. It is likely from the 18th century and constructed from stone rubble, brick, and slate. The dovecote features a pillar type design, consisting of an octagonal stone rubble pillar that supports a circular lantern-shaped cote made of red brick on a circular base. It has five tiers of pigeon-holes with slate ledges. The roof is conical and is probably corbelled. This is a very rare type of dovecote and may be unique in Cornwall.
