Description

Hendra Cottage and an adjoining cottage date from the early 19th century. They are built of painted rubble with granite dressings and rendered cob to the first floor front, with scantle slate roofs. A brick chimney sits over the left gable end and another over the central party wall. The cottages were originally planned with a small room at the front of each, a cross passage to the right, and service rooms behind. The south front has a regular two-window arrangement, with a ground and first-floor window to the left of each cottage, and a doorway on the right. The doors are top-glazed, and the windows are 4-paned, horned sashes dating from the early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. The cottages are closely grouped with other listed buildings in the vicinity.
