Description
Hendy's Cottages, consisting of Nos. 1, 2, and 3, are a row of cottages built in the 18th century. They have rendered, formerly painted rubble walls and a corrugated asbestos roof, which features three small gabled roof dormers at the rear. The cottages have large end stacks, with the left-hand stack being outbuilt. The structure has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, presenting a long, low range with three windows. The windows are 20th-century two-light casements that have replaced the original three-light casements with glazing bars, and there are three 20th-century doors. The interior has not been inspected, but it may still contain original floor and roof structures along with other interesting features.
