Description

Benhay is a detached house located on Furzehatt Road in Plymstock. It was built in the early 19th century and extended in the 20th century. The exterior features roughcast render over what is likely rubble, with a dry slate roof and rendered end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan due to the 20th-century extension, which probably includes two rooms at the front flanking a central entrance hall. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are 20th-century copies of sash windows with glazing bars. On the right side, there is a two-storey canted bay, and the central entrance is marked by a flat-roofed porch that has a glazed and panelled door. The interior has not been inspected.
