Description
North Cottage and Thatch Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. The front is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with Isle of Wight stone rubble on the right-hand bay and end elevations. They feature a half-hipped thatched roof with two brick chimneystacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows, which include four 19th-century casements, one of which is located under an eyebrow dormer. Thatch Cottage has a flat modern weather hood, while North Cottage has a modern gabled thatched porch. There is also a 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear.
