Description

These buildings, numbered 11, 11A, 11B, 11C, and 11D, are located on Fore Street in Mevagissey and date from the early 19th century. They are built with roughcast rendering. The front of the buildings is irregular in appearance, with two storeys and four windows. Most windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars; the projecting bay on the right has a round-headed sash window with marginal lights and elaborate tracery in the head. A continuous projecting shop front has plate glass windows, including a 4-light arrangement at number 11, and features an elliptical arch, panelled fascias, and a cornice above. The roof is slate and hipped, with two hipped dormers. The buildings are included in the list for their group value, forming a group with number 13.
