Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century stone buildings, numbers 12 and 13 Bridge Street. They were constructed around 1811. The buildings are composed of one unit, exhibiting rusticated quoins, a moulded cornice, a blocking course, and a string course. They have three windows, each framed by moulded, shouldered rendered architraves. One window features an oriel on the second floor. The first floor windows have glazing bars, while the central window is distinguished by a round head, a long keystone, and rendered Doric pilasters. A late 19th-century shop front and a modern shop front are also present. The buildings are included on the list for their group value, forming a group with numbers 11 to 17 Bridge Street.
