Description
Number 11 Bridge Street is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall with attics, designed to curve with the street. The exterior is made of ashlar stone and features a cornice along with a moulded blocking course. The building has a 1-3-1 window arrangement, with the end windows slightly projecting forward and framed by rusticated quoins. The top storey windows are set within square, slightly shouldered architraves. On the second floor, the windows are adorned with hoods supported by consoles, and a band continues along the cills. The ground floor features doors set within a vermiculated rusticated surround and includes a shop front. This building is included for its group value with Nos 11 to 17 Bridge Street, which form a cohesive architectural group.
